Did you know that LSPC has supported the American Cancer Society with the Redemption Boogie for the last 6 years?

Many of you may not know of the long-standing partnership between the ACS and the Redemption Boogie, so I thought it would be interesting to tell you a little about it.

We have traditionally donated part of the proceeds from the Boogie to financially support the many good things that the Cancer Society does locally, but over time we've found some other ways to partner, as well.

Already this year we helped the ACS with fundraising by donating a tandem skydive to their Gala Auction. This became part of an Adrenaline Package that netted the ACS another $900, contributing to the total of $75,000 they raised that evening!

Here's what Meredith Pickering, Regional Director of Distinguished Giving- Nebraska for ACS had to say:

The Gala was a huge success! We raised $75,000! We were able to package your skydive with a biplane ride and a Nascar package called the Adrenaline Package. It sold for about $900.

Thanks so much for your donation and all your support of the American Cancer Society! Thanks!

It doesn't stop there - on June 6th, we'll be taking the local ACS "Hero of Hope", Tracy Harnly, on one of her big lifetime wishes. She'll be making a tandem skydive with us out at LSPC.

Tracy is a truly amazing person, and all of us can learn a lot about courage from her - if you'd like to learn more, check out her blog.

Thanks for tuning in!

I smell jet fuel....

The excitement is starting to build!

It's less than two months until the Plattsmouth Airport comes alive with skydiving activity, and LSPC is working hard to make it even better than last year.

Check out the all-star list of industry folks that are coming to rub elbows with you - there's something for everyone here.

Want to improve your skills? Some of the best coaches and organizers in the business will be here, hoping to help you reach the next level.

More later,

Paul
